It’s an exciting thing to find a place to post writing. It makes me think there’s a reason for it. When I’m alone and writing, not knowing who it may be for, it becomes very easy to lose focus and, in fact, to lose your way. Digital Novelists is a great place to potentially be part of a community, possibly a diverse community, that can make the stories so much better.

They say “good artists imitate, great artists steal”. “Daughters of the Teardrop Sea” is as close as I could get to a genre. I don’t know if that’s important, but I hope I find out. Serial novels have a very long history. It’s probably not a coincidence that Stephen King is one of my favorite writers, since Dickins wrote his novel s as serials and I’ve often compared the two.
