Legends of the Half Light:
We are all on a beach. There are pebbles, sometimes, under our feet. Sometimes cool sand. The waves roll and break against the shore, There is salty mist in the blue air, cool against our many cheeks.
The sun is still low and threatening to burst on the horizon; precious, though dangerous rays are starting to show. The suggestion of a shadow is following each of our cautious steps and we advance slowly, like the music of an orchestra, with cymbals crashing and with horns..
This is the 'half light', said by some to be the condition of our unprecidented species on this earth. The half light is said to be a time before the dawning of a new age, an age that is promised to be brilliant and golden. But now is a time of shadows that fight back, of revelations that flicker in the slender hope of fulfillment. There is unity hovering on the brink of ruin and faith riding shotgun on the crests of the eager waves. There is the call to glory as well as the far off thunder of approaching war. It is a time of battle, but equally a time of hope.
It’s understood that no one can know the future, at least not with any real certainty. The library shelves are stacked with honest attempts stretching back to the beginnings of civilization, some of them uncannily accurate, others fantastic and yet strangely true in some way. Most of them have two things at least in common: they are, on the one hand, concerned about the human race and they are, on the other hand, offering some kind of warning about where we are going or where we have gone.
Legends of the Half Light is a site on which there will appear serials, novels, stories and blogs, some of them generally science fiction and fantasy. . .
The first book to appear will be "Daughters of the Teardrop Sea". It tells the story of an exceptional child. A second book, which is a kind of ‘coming of age’ story, is called ‘Something Lyrical for the Night’. Your input is very welcome. This serial/novel starts 300 years after 'Invisible Childern' ends. Civilization as we know it has passed and three centuries with it. A new world is evolving. The question is...will it sufer from the same issues as the past?
I really like to hear from you because feedback is essential for me. At this time it's like I look into the mirror but there's no reflection. Is my hair out of place? Does my shirt tail stick out of my waist? Is there a piece of lettuce stuck on my teeth? You are necessary critics.

There are a number of people who have joined 'Legends of the Half Life' recently. At this moment there are no special options for members, but in the future there should be points available and extra chapters.
Let me know you're around if you like! I definitely need feedback, both positive and negative. This story, and others, need imput the way any conversation does. I'm very happy to hear from you.
